Strong participation across all product segments as Intertextile Shanghai Home Textiles opens this week

With a high visitor flow expected, China's traditional sourcing season gets underway Wednesday with the opening of Intertextile Shanghai Home Textiles – Spring Edition. From 6 – 8 March 2024, over 330 exhibitors from seven countries and regions will convene at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai (Hall 5.2) to highlight an extensive variety of home textile products. Buyers will be able to source the latest bedding, duvets, pillows, towels, carpets, rugs and many more.

Ms Wilmet Shea, General Manager of Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd, expressed: "Following the successful 2023 show, the past year has been one of steady recovery and we are looking forward to seeing what’s next as the industry evolves. As a result of steady recovery in domestic demand and continual rising of domestic sales orders for home textile products[1], suppliers are set to leverage the Spring Edition as a platform to expand their brand and gain market share.

Fringe programme: a deeper dive into trends reshaping the home textiles market ?

Spring Edition 2026 concluded on 13 March at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai), achieving record highs in both exhibitor and visitor numbers. Design, innovation and sustainability propel VIATT 2026’s expanding role in ASEAN textile sourcing

At its third edition, the Vietnam International Trade Fair for Apparel, Textiles, and Textile Technologies (VIATT) further reinforced its role as a key sourcing and business platform for ASEAN’s textile industry. The three-day fair welcomed over 17,000 visits from 54 countries and regions, and featured over 460 exhibitors from 21 countries and regions across 18,000 sqm.
