VEIT Group presents product highlights and innovations at Texprocess 2026
Under the motto “Pressing for Excellence”, the company has further developed existing systems and introduced new solutions over the past two years. Building on 70 years of company history, VEIT continues to increase its pace of innovation, aiming to provide tangible added value in automation and process control, even in a challenging economic environment. The trade fair motto “LOVEIT” reflects the combination of technical precision, energy efficiency and a consistent focus on user requirements.
At the centre of the presentation are solutions addressing key industry requirements. These include the reduction of manual labour in finishing, ironing and laminating processes, as well as productivity gains for small and medium production volumes. At the same time, VEIT focuses on further automation for high-throughput environments of up to 5,000 items per hour, while ensuring consistently high processing quality. Energy efficiency and sustainable production processes play a central role, alongside flexible and scalable production concepts ranging from decentralised steam generation to wide fusing and laminating systems with working widths between 45 and 180 cm.
A particular highlight is the expanded 2381 series for electric steam generation, which responds to rising energy costs and increasing demand for flexible and sustainable supply concepts. The new high-performance variant offers a connected load of 90 kW at 400 V and delivers up to 117 kg of steam per hour, while the overall series now covers a range from 2.2 kW to 90 kW. The modular design allows the combination of up to four 90 kW systems, enabling capacity expansion without fundamental system changes. This supports decentralised steam generation directly at the process, reducing energy losses, increasing operational reliability and enabling more flexible production structures. Installation can be carried out without major infrastructural adjustments.
The 2381 series is designed for reliable continuous operation, featuring a 50-litre water volume and a 25-litre steam chamber for stable supply. Electronic water level control with dual protection against low water levels, generously dimensioned heating elements with low surface load, and an integrated high-temperature feed water pump contribute to durability and operational safety. Integration is simplified through stainless steel feed water and blowdown tanks, clearly structured controls, and a blowdown process that can be performed safely from the front. Commissioning does not require acceptance testing.
In the field of fusing and laminating, VEIT introduces a new generation of machines with working widths of up to 1,800 mm. With the FM 18 and LM 18 models, the company responds to increasing demand in the processing of roll goods, both in garment manufacturing and in technical textiles. The larger working width allows more efficient processing of wide materials and expands application possibilities in industrial environments. At the same time, improvements in energy efficiency, ergonomics and digital integration enhance machine performance and usability. The portfolio now covers working widths from 45 cm to 180 cm, enabling applications from small-scale use in studios or research facilities to industrial series production.
The WR 16 winding and rewinding device complements these systems with a flexible solution for continuous material handling. It enables tension-free unwinding and rewinding, electrically controlled movements and automated process control, and can be equipped with optical web edge detection, an integrated cutting device and roll widths of up to 1,600 mm.
With the Steambox SB 10, VEIT introduces a compact solution for targeted pre-shrinking of textiles and nonwovens. The controlled application of steam reduces internal tensions in the material, improving dimensional stability and preventing unwanted shrinkage in subsequent processing steps. The system is particularly suited to applications requiring precise material properties at the edges, such as in technical textiles or sensitive materials, and can be easily integrated into existing continuous production lines.
Further developments are presented in garment finishing. The Shirt Finisher SF 27 has been optimised in collaboration with fluid dynamics and emissions specialists, improving finishing quality while significantly reducing energy consumption. An integrated heat recovery system feeds radiant energy back into the process, enhancing efficiency and working conditions. The system achieves outputs of up to 80 shirts per hour with a steam consumption of approximately 20 kg per hour and has been further refined to reduce post-processing requirements.
The CF 20 Compact Finisher is designed for limited space and medium production volumes, offering automated, cyclical processes that ensure consistent results and easy integration into existing production lines. The PF 50 Pants Finisher combines digital process control with Industry 4.0 connectivity, enabling consistent finishing quality and continuous data recording, including adjustable waist and leg parameters. The Universal Finisher UF 30 provides high versatility for different garment types, with processing times starting from 10 seconds and modular configurations for various applications, while significantly reducing manual ironing requirements.
In addition, the Varioset ironing station series offers powerful suction and blowing functions combined with low noise levels and high reliability in continuous operation.
At Texprocess 2026, VEIT demonstrates how textile finishing processes can be efficiently automated, flexibly scaled and designed for sustainability, ranging from individual workstations to fully integrated production solutions.
