BGMEA has become the “in association partner” of 7th BIGTEX 2023

BGMEA inked an agreement with Redcarpet Global Ltd. for being the “in association partner” of 7th BIGTEX 2023 (Bangladesh International Garment & Textile Machinery Expo). In this connection the organizing committee lead by Redcarpet Global’s Chief Executive Officer Mr. Ahmed Imtiaz, met with BGMEA President Mr. Faruque Hassan at BGMEA Complex in Uttara, Dhaka on July 13, 2023 and discussed various measures to ensure the cooperation and smooth execution of this expo.

Also seen in the meeting are Redcarpet Global’s Director & Chief Business Officer Mr. Lutfar Hossain, Director & Head of Corporate Affairs Mr. Abdullah Al Mamun and DGM-Marketing Mr. Majaharul Islam.  

The Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers & Exporters Association (BGMEA) expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to serve as an association partner in the highly anticipated 7th BIGTEX 2023 (Bangladesh International Garment & Textile Machinery Expo) to be held from 26 to 28 October 2023 at ICCB, Dhaka. They also extend their special thanks to the organizers for recognizing the significant contributions of BGMEA and inviting them to participate in this prestigious exhibition. The inclusion of BGMEA in the Bangladesh International Garment & Textile Machinery Expo provides a remarkable platform to showcase the potential of Bangladesh's vibrant and thriving garment industry.

The press release also mentioned, Redcarpet Global Ltd. in association with BGMEA (Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers & Exporters Association) are organizing 7th BIGTEX 2023 – Bangladesh Int’l Garment & Textile Machinery Expo, to be held from 26 to 28 October 2023 at International Convention City Bashundhara - ICCB, Dhaka – Bangladesh. They are also glad to inform you that, targeting the entire Garment & Textile industry of Bangladesh, BIGTEX has 3 concurrent exhibitions named as Bangladesh International Fabric & Yarn Expo, Bangladesh International Dyes, Pigments and Chemicals Expo & Bangladesh International Printing, Packaging and Signage Expo, which will be definitely helpful for visitors, buyers & exhibitors.

BIGTEX connects all kinds of garment & textile machinery, equipment, technology & accessory manufacturer, dealer, supplier & importer from Home & Abroad. It’s concurrent exhibitions are targeted to the most important parts like yarn, fabric, trims & accessories, dyes, pigments, chemicals, printing, packaging & signage industry.




Ahmed said to the media, that the expo will have around 200 stalls with products from atleast 12 countries including Asia and Europe. The back bone of Bangladesh’s economic growth is Apparel Sector and the networking platforms like exhibitions are very important to uphold country’s growth, as well as economy. To achieve the export target we need to focus more on value added, high-end apparel items rather than basic, traditional products to make the business sustainable throughout the fierce competition in the global garment trade. These Exhibitions will also no doubt provide an opportunity to our experts, engineers & technicians in the field of textile to have a practical knowledge of the recent technological advancements available, without going abroad.

This Expo will be open for general & trade visitors from 10:30 am to 7:30pm every day.
