ISKO hits Denim Première Vision, where its innovations take sustainable fashion to the next level

ISKO has been hard at work developing new technologies, product updates and strategies to meet the needs of the market and of consumers alike while wowing the PV Denim goers with all that the leading denim brand has to offer.

Many updates await: the SS25 collection by ISKO completely made using ISKO’s cutting-edge Ctrl+Z material science, the new textile-to-textile recycling technology platform, the creative collaboration with Adriano Goldschmied, the ISKO™ Luxury by PG latest collection, and the Rad Rags collection by Creative Room Italia.

SS25 collection starring Ctrl+Z

First things first, in touch with its sustainable approach, ISKO has been working on making the SS25 collection entirely Ctrl+Z. Furthermore, Ctrl+Z Blends now includes an additional alternative among its blends: regenerative cotton.

There are also updates on the fabric technology front with:

  • Lightweight, a 4-to-7 fabric ounce available in rigid and stretch qualities;
  • ISKO Touch, bright, glossy finish and refined, silk-like appearance it gives the fabric an element of elegance;
  • Indigo Heart, double-faced and textured with a handcrafted feel.

Among the many technologies ISKO is well known for, attendees of the tradeshow will get to see ISKO’s timeless and improved:

  • ISKO™ REFORM 100, this season is available in either a white or black viscose weft, giving the fabrics a tailored look and soft, luxurious feel.
  • JEGGINGS™, with additions of Tencel™ fibers; Ctrl+Z Blends gives JEGGINGS™ fabric a luxurious look with a soft and smooth feeling.

RE&UP: a new company for textile-to-textile recycling ISKO’s tireless vision of helping to make the industry more sustainable through innovative approaches brings you Re&Up: a new company that focuses on textile-to-textile recycling technology to champion circularity. Involving mechanical and thermo-mechanical recycling, it allows to recycle post- and pre-consumer garments of the most common types – cotton, polyester and polycotton – into new raw material ready to be re-spun.

In the future, different Re&Up hubs will be located in key locations – Europe, Asia, America – to recycle post-consumer goods acting as a gateway for any brand facing the challenge of recycling its waste and giving it a new life in fashion. With this solution, brands can deliver a full circular approach to their consumers. Furthermore, Re&Up can also provide its clients with in-store solutions for collecting clothes, thus enabling an all-around approach to recycling and circularity, assist consumers in the textile waste collection process, which, thanks to Re&Up, will be transformed into a new resource for brand-new fabrics and garments.

ISKO’s goal is to recycle 1 million tons of textile waste through the Re&Up platform.

“We firmly believe in the need to reduce the reliance on virgin raw materials by boosting the use of recycled ones, thus improving sourcing efficiency throughout the entire field-to-fabric production. Our cutting-edge programs effectively help in tackling over-sourcing, which is today the leading issue when it comes to the waste hierarchy” said ISKO CEO Fatih Konukogilu, “we are really happy to be here at PV Denim and to show what we have to bring to the table; innovations, collaborations, fashion, the whole package”.

ADRIANO GOLDSCHMIED: material science meets 18th century magnificence

The godfather of denim shows no sign of stopping, as his latest collection made in collaboration with Creative Room Italia shows, where ISKO’s creative hub brought to life the designer’s vision. The collection is inspired by eighteenth century and its magnificence, revived thanks to the versatility of ISKO’s Ctrl+Z material science, using recycled polyester, recycled cotton, and regenerated cellulose fibers. It doesn’t surprise (or maybe it should) that these fabrics allow great freedom in terms of versatility and are as beautiful as they are responsible, thanks to state-of-the-art recycling technologies and processes aimed at generating less waste and reusing offcuts.

ISKOTM LUXURY BY PG: the new era of premium denim

The new ISKO™ Luxury by PG collection was born without a specific seasonality or gender in mind, a timeless collection for everyone that leverages the company's expertise in sustainability and its latest innovations in this regard. That's why the new collection is increasingly made with Ctrl+Z.

The new 4 capsule collections Blob Trotters, Glamour Rock, Aurum Denim and ChArmy were designed by creative director Paolo Gnutti to amaze and to expect the unexpected.

RAD RAGS™ BY CREATIVE ROOM ITALIA

Sustainable research has now come to embrace design. That’s where RAD RAGSTM Ø WASTE comes in, a 6-piece collection by Creative Room Italia, inspired by historical and iconic denim pieces. While playing on the paper patterns of the most historical garments, the collection is made with Ctrl+Z material science and, in how it has been conceived, avoids any fabric waste as much as possible.
