Indorama Ventures advances circular fashion through RECO Collective 2026

Collaborating with Thai brands CHANA, KH EDITIONS, and APPEAL Summerwear, together with Bulliontex, to transform recycled PET (rPET) into circular fashion that combines style and functionality with practical everyday use.

Indorama Ventures Public Company Limited (IVL), a global sustainable chemical company, is taking RECO Collective into its 12th year under the theme “The Next Original,” reinforcing its mission to promote recycling and upcycling knowledge while encouraging SMEs in the fashion industry to embrace recycled materials. The program focuses particularly on recycled polyester (rPET) yarns and fabrics made from post-consumer PET bottles, using these materials to create value-added products that combine distinctive design with consumer needs and market opportunities.

Through collaboration across the value chain, from textile manufacturers and designers to industry partners, RECO Collective brings together stakeholders with a shared ambition to advance sustainability in business.

This year, RECO Collective is working with three distinctive Thai fashion brands: CHANA, led by Mr. Chanajit Noodech; KH EDITIONS, led by Mr. Naphat Tansuwan and Ms. Panisara Maneerat; and APPEAL Summerwear, led by Ms. Thanawan Chantasahawat and Ms. Kansiri Chantasahawat. The designers will participate in the RECO Incubation Lab, an incubation program designed to deepen their understanding of circular materials and refine their concepts through a Circular Design process. From material selection and design to production trials and prototyping, the program equips participating brands with practical knowledge of sustainable design and management, enabling them to create products that meet functional and consumer needs while opening broader market opportunities.

To support this year’s learning and product development process, RECO Collective is collaborating with Bulliontex Co., Ltd., an experienced textile specialist and fabric developer. Bulliontex is providing recycled polyester fabrics for participating designers to experiment with and develop into finished products. The company will also contribute as a knowledge partner, sharing expertise and practical guidance on textile innovation, material properties, and ways to apply recycled materials effectively across different design and functional requirements.

This collaboration is part of a broader effort to build a fashion ecosystem connecting raw-material producers, textile specialists, designers, and industry partners. Bulliontex transforms recycled polyester yarns from Indorama Ventures into high-quality fabrics suitable for further design applications, helping to connect recycled raw materials with fabric development, design, and ultimately value-added products.

Collaboration among all stakeholders is therefore central to transforming Circular Fashion from concept into practice — connecting materials, manufacturing, design, and finished products. At the same time, this approach creates new opportunities for Thai fashion brands and helps unlock greater value from recycled materials throughout the value chain.
