Yarn spinning partner Tearfil continues to support Spinnova’s fibre and technology

Spinnova Plc has signed non-binding Letter of Intent (LOI) with Portuguese yarn spinning company, Tearfil Textile Yarns to secure access to SPINNOVA® fibre volumes.


The LOI outlines an important step in Spinnova’s ambitions to create an ecosystem (consortium) to enable the availability of textile materials with sustainable SPINNOVA® fibre in the textile materials market.

Tearfil is a visionary spinning mill and one of Spinnova’s key partners in increasing the industrial adoption of SPINNOVA® fibre in the global textile value chain. Tearfil will introduce yarn blends that holds SPINNOVA® fibre to the European textile players and market.

Lenzing advances its transformation: Higher EBITDA, stronger free cash flow and more than EUR 200 million in cost savings

The business performance of the Lenzing Group in 2025 was affected particularly in the second half of the year by external factors such as international tariff measures, subdued demand and declining market prices. As a result, revenue decreased slightly by 2.3 percent to EUR 2.6 billion, primarily due to lower fiber sales volumes and lower prices for fibers and pulp, which were further negatively impacted by currency developments. Today, the Aid by Trade Foundation (AbTF) is announcing the results of a comprehensive life-cycle analysis (LCA) for cotton produced in Tanzania under the Cotton made in Africa Organic (CmiA Organic) standard.
